Tongxin has been making ceramics in Dehua since 2004. The present company was registered there in December 2017 and holds the licence shown below. It employs around 600 people and turns over about RMB 100 million a year, and the licence covers daily-use ceramics, craft goods and import and export in its own right.
Exports go mainly to the United States and Europe. Production has gone into retail programmes for Walmart, Target, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, ALDI, Lidl, KiK and Action. We can speak to the standards those programmes expect on audits, packaging and inspection.
